I’ll be the first to say that I haven’t been feeling SB’s lately (aside from the Janoski’s), but this new picture brings some hope to the line.
Taking cues from Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” album cover, denim is used for the toe, midfoot and foxing, while navy blue fills in the mid-panel behind a red Swoosh. On the collar, red and white stripes appear as an ode to the American flag that hangs in front of Bruce on the cover. These will reportedly release at New Jersey Skateshop first as a QS sometime later this year. -nicekicks.com
I’m really eager to see a higher quality photo of these, the denim is really going to make or break the shoe.

oo man i haven’t bought a pair of SBs in a while, if the denim is great then i can see me purchasing these pretty soon.
Same here Rob — Haven’t bought SB’s in over a year. However, they seem to be stepping it up again.
yea they are, ive just been buying dunks here and there, thought of going back and buying retros, but its something about these SB’s that really have my eye right now. I dont know if its the colors or the pinstripe on the back. hmmmm
Too american for my liking, but the denim looks pretty tight.
